This is an inlet that can be seen from the top of a small rise behind Almirante Brown station. This Argentinian base has the distinction of being set fire to by
the base doctor to save him another year's duty. It's one of the great uknown questions I have from my visit to Antarctica - what a year down there would be like.
I'm under no illusions that we got a very lucky run with the weather and have no idea of what the White Continent is really capable of, but I have this sneaking
suspicion it would be an amazing experience and that I'd cope pretty well with the solitude. Of course who your colleagues are would be rather critical. Anyway,
I doubt I'll ever get to find out, as I don't exactly have a science background ...
