Sharp Peak rises to 475m above sea level and is just over 3 km southeast of Prosepct Point on the west coast of Graham Land. I really like this image, with the
shape of the bay leading the eye toward the peak, and the foreground rock detail providing balance. I'm also rather fond of this image because we had a seriously
stunning day, and this was also the place where I first set foot on the Antarctic continent proper.
Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F5 and an AFS 17-35mm f2.8 lens at 20mm. |
