		Deception Island was a visually remarkable place. The contrast between the faintly blue-tinged ice and the black volcanic beach caught my eye as soon as we landed. All I had to do was make my way up the beach, slowly and carefully, through the thousands of penguins ... Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F5 and an AFS 17-35mm f2.8 lens at 17mm.
