Elephant seals have amongst the most repugnant personal habits of the animal kingdom. Don't get me wrong - they're quite remarkable - but I'm not sure I've ever
come across an animal that burps and - well let's put it delicately - breaks wind as noisily and as much as elephant seals. And they're just a little on the
smelly side, too !
