We saw wandering albatrosses, royal albatrosses, black browed albatrosses and grey headed albatrosses - all following us across the Drake Passage, and all were
absolutely magnificent birds. I know the 3.5m to 4m wingspans of the wandering albatrosses is an almost over-quoted statistic, but the scale and grace of these
beautiful creatures has to be seen to be believed.
