		The Sydney Olympics were an amazing experience from start to finish. The celebrations when Sydney was announced as the winning bid were rather little enthusiastic - in part because I'm sure many people never really thought we'd win. But the joy and pride were a foretaste of what was to come - without a doubt two of the most extraordinary two weeks of my life. This image was made at around 4am - one of the few times of the day when Circular Quay is actually quiet. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F80 and an AF 60mm f2.8 lens.
