		This is Fingal, our otter. Well, we sponsor him. And a mighty fine specimen he is too. He lives at the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary just outside Oban. This image was made after we visited Mull - and tried in vain to spot some otters in the wild. Playful - absolutely, but also very reclusive. We spent quite some time out in the pelting rain looking for otters. I kept telling my wife they were all probably somewhere dry and warm sniggering at us crazy humans ... Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F80 and an AF 300mm f4 lens.
