		The 21km long, and in places up to 300m deep, Gorges of Verdon are remarkable. They are also, in places, incredibly narrow. The River Verdon is named for its greenish colour, which is due to the effect of high fluorine levels on river algae. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F80 and an AF 60mm f2.8 lens.
