What isn't really apparent from most photographs of Kata Tjuta is that there is a myriad of domes over an area something like 8 km by 5 km. The Valley
of the Winds walk is around 7.5 km long and is well worth the effort - it takes you up into the heart of the domes for something a little different to the typical
postcard view of Kata Tjuta.
Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F80 and an AF 80-200mm f2.8 lens at 200mm. |
