		The old man of the lake is right behind me, keeping an eye on things. Lake Boomanjin is, I think, the largest of Fraser Island's perched lakes. A perched lake is formed in a depression in the sand where vegetation has formed an impervious base. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F801 and an AF 50mm f1.8 lens.
