		Thurat is thought to be an aboriginal word, the meaning of which is not really clear. William Govett named the area Thurat in 1833. I've always been fascinated by the names of the features in the Kanangra area - Mt Stormbreaker, Mt Cloudmaker, Mt High & Mighty - they're all wonderfully poetic and imposing. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F801 and an AF 80-200mm f2.8 lens at 135mm.
