		I was pretty lucky to get to see Cradle Mountain at all, as the area gets something like 270 rainy days per year on average. Ugh ! This view is from a ridge on the eastern side of Lake Dove. The day hikes around the area are well worth exploring for some remarkable views. But take warm and waterproof gear with you - even if it's sunny - it's amazing how quickly the weather can turn nasty. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F801 and an AF 300mm f4 lens.
