On a clear, crisp morning, in the pre-dawn stillness, you can almost feel how old this land is. Before the Colorado River began to carve the Grand Canyon, the Blue Mountains were much the same as they are now. These ancient ridges are like nature's version of Rodin's "The Thinker" - they just sit there, staring at each other across the valley, through countless sunrises and millions of years.
