		The West MacDonnell National Park stretches something like 170 km west of Alice Springs. The MacDonnell Ranges, which are a major feature of the park, run in great east-west parallel ridges, and are periodically intersected by a succession of gorges, the first of which is Simpsons Gap. Shot on Fuji Velvia ISO 50 using a Nikon F80 and an AF 24mm f2.8 lens.
